Explosion-Resistant			Type NEMA 7 enclosure intended for use indoors, where resistance to explosion is paramount.
Weather-Resistant			Type NEMA 4 enclosure intended for indoor or outdoor use. Used primarily to provide a degree of protection against windblown dust and rain, splashing water, hose-directed water, and external ice formation.
"Helmet Head"			Rugged compact enclosure for indoor use to provide optimal protection from physical damage.
General Purpose Economy			Type NEMA 1 enclosure intended for use indoors, primarily to prevent accidental contact of personnel with the enclosed equipment. Used where economy is paramount, in areas where unusual service conditions do not exist.
