Serial numbers
Every heater that Warren Electric Corporation has manufactured since the beginning, in 1962, has a serial number. With that serial number, we are able to trace the heater back to the original order and inspection sheet.
In the 1960s and 1970s, the serial numbers started with a number up to 3 digits long, followed by a letter. In the 1980s, the serial numbers started with two letters followed by a number up to 3 digits long.
Since 1989, the serial numbers start with a letter followed by a number up to 3 digits long followed by a letter.
Again, with that number, we are able to trace the correct heater and are able to tell you the date of manufacturer and if it is still in the warranty period.
